Congratulations to the winners. A nice spontaneous tournament could have been better attendance but it wasn't that bad. If you want to play another draft tournament on Sunday, this time 3v3 let me know I think we will find time to organize it.

As for the rules, this tournament still showed that blizz sorc is strong, if you have any ideas about the rules, write to us.

Well done to everyone that took part. A couple of things from me :

1. This was quite short notice, would recommend that maybe we set a permanent date in the calander for events in order to make them regular. At HLD there is a 2v2 each friday, We could do something similiar for DCL where maybe on a fixed weekday evening we have a permanent 2v2 fixture (or something like that).

2. Possibly explore the option of a 1v1 tournament as that will show more clearly how robust the rules are in certain matchups.

3. In last weeks tournament a Druid + Necro combo was really strong - Based on the strong amazon presence in this dueling format (DCL) - this was a really good result. I would like to see more of this combo win tournaments. This was with allowing insight. Since last week insight has been banned again. I dont understand this. I dont see a reason to Ban insight as it promotes action, while lack of mana, supresses action. If that makes druid and necro strong - Great! For the Combo of Druid + Nec, insight solves alot of issues.

In yesterday's tournament my Nec ally was vs a Zon after I and the opposing Nec died. This resulted then in a 15 minute game of who will blink first. The necro had no mana while the amazon was low life. Insight would have made the necro more active on the map and regardless of who won or lost, it would have been quicker. Without insight and 1 point Amp, to my mind cripples necro's.

4. In terms of Blizz, At HLD (where everyone except bowa teleported) it was 7Blizz to kill an opponent. At MLD (where only sorc and dudu teleport) it was 12 Blizz to kill an opponent and even then Blizz won 1v1 and team tournaments. At LLD it was also 7+ (everyone uses tele staffs). It makes no sense to have DCL at 2-3 killed by Blizzard. At the very least I would recommend that it takes 7 hits to be killed by a blizzard. We do not want to nerf Blizzard into the ground, we want a balance to be struck whereby certain matchup's remain competitive. Better to only allow 1 raven and increase the Res limit then to allow 2 ravens. That forces players to get mroe stacked resistance and is a "gear check" and invariables means you do less damage as you need to wear more resistance.

strongly recommend you get the strongest blizz player, and see how much resistance (+1 raven) equates to 7-hit dead, and increase the cold resistance to that, for now. Thats the least that can be done now (more resistance is probably long term needed). In lay mans terms - if a char has 3000 life the blizz damage should be around 400~450 life per hit (its currently 1000~1500.)
